RESIDENTIAL CAMP II (CoEd) - CANCELLED DUE TO COVID
Residential Camp 2 is for boys & girls, and is the perfect way to enjoy all the benefits of a great camp experience on the beautiful Georgia campus. Soccer players from all over the United States come together for four days of soccer, fun and friendships. Our knowledgeable and outgoing coaching staff provides a combination of high level training with pure fun to create a memorable and rewarding camp experience.
Technical Training The technical development of our campers is our top soccer priority and emphasized in each field session. Players will be exposed to advanced techniques for shooting, dribbling, receiving, turning, heading, and more. Our coaches will take players through each step of the techniques to ensure proper development and execution. Tactical Training Tactical training is featured in our afternoon sessions when the campers are grouped into their teams. Our expert staff of coaches will help organize your team into an effective system of play and teach your players their roles within that system. Topics covered include principles of attack and defense, switching fields, overlapping, and organizing the box. Teams will get to test what they’ve learned in the evening matches. Goalkeeper Training A specialized goalkeeper camp is held in conjunction with all of our residential camps. Goalkeepers will receive separate instruction from the field players led by Katie Ely, who serves as goalkeeper coach for the Georgia Bulldogs. Proper technique for diving, boxing, parrying, and distribution is emphasized and one session of pressure training is included. What to Bring:
